The FSC label: for responsible forest management

With us, sustainability is a structural and essential part of our operations. We are therefore proud to announce that our official Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC) seal of approval has been renewed for another five years! This international and independent hallmark guarantees that the raw materials for our wood and paper products come from sustainably managed forests.

The FSC label stands for responsible sourcing and traceability of wood and forest products. Only products whose entire production chain, from forest to end product, has been checked for sustainability are allowed to carry this label. The strict requirements and credibility of the FSC label are widely recognised by environmental organisations, as well as social and economic actors.

What does this label mean in practice? With the FSC label, we can help our customers make environmentally conscious choices. In our projects, for example, we recommend using wood veneer instead of less sustainable plastics such as melamine or high-pressure laminate (HPL). This is not only better for the environment, but also offers economic benefits.

Our commitment to sustainability goes beyond wood products. We now also make sustainable walls from special felt, compressed paper and recycled PET bottles.

Nobody can ignore sustainability these days - and that's a good thing! With the FSC label, we demonstrate our commitment to a greener future and are happy to help our customers make responsible choices.
