Corendon Mangrove Beach Resort

This resort is one of the largest and also one of the most sustainable on Curaçao. On the roof, for example, there are 1,600 solar panels that provide continuous power to the entire complex. The location is special, in the middle of nature among beautiful mangrove trees on a beautiful barrier reef right by the sea.
Keijsers Interiors was asked to carry out the interior design of this large-scale project. The total number of rooms is 405, making the Corendon Mangrove Beach Resort the largest and most sustainable hotel complex on Curacao. For the hotel rooms, Keijsers created the headboards for all beds as well as the desks, cabinets, mirrors and washbasins. With an eye for detail and gourmet finish, these products come into their own in the 405 hotel rooms. Given the climate, the use of materials was also very important.
We also designed the sushi bar, the restaurant, the reception and the indoor bar. We were also asked to contribute to the design of the public areas. A challenging project because of the logistics, the heat and the different culture, but what a beautiful result. We are proud of this collaboration.
