The College Hotel

During the reopening of The College Hotel in Amsterdam, Keijsers played an important role in creating a luxurious experience. After an intensive renovation, during which 40 unique rooms were created and the lobby underwent a complete transformation, the historic building on Roelof Hartstraat has once again opened its doors.

The boutique hotel, located in Amsterdam’s Oud-Zuid district, is housed in an impressive 19th-century building that was opened in 1894 as a secondary school (Hogereburgerschool). This monumental property still serves as a unique learning environment for students. In 2005, it was transformed into a boutique hotel, and now, after the recent renovation by Studio Piet Boon, history and modernity beautifully come together.

Keijsers was delighted to provide the custom-made interiors for the hotel rooms. Our contribution included stylish beds with beautifully crafted headboards, multifunctional wall units, cozy window seats with benches and coffee tables, and bespoke bathroom furniture. Every detail contributes to the hotel’s unique signature.
